The tow behind sand / gravel spreader gritter is a very handy and economical attachment for winter maintenance of yards and walkways. It covers only the trail behind the ATV and does not spread it wider to ditches or grass fields on the sides thus makes it convenient and economical to use by dropped material not being wasted on where it´s not needed. Note: The sand and gravel spreader is designed for use with only dry sand and gravel! The new 2nd generation (G2) Iron Baltic unit is higher capacity / bigger volume for less frequent loading with improved mechanics. Fitted with mechanically driven crusher / mixer rotor in container. Container volume is 270L / 71galPower to the spreader shaft is taken mechanically from the wheels.Wheels are equipped with a clutch which allows transporting without sand spreading.Equipped with a 50 mm ( 2' ) trailer hitch coupling.Higher capacity and bigger volume generation 2 (G2) sand spreader version for more demanding use.Mechanically rotating mixer rotor inside the container, helping to break the larger or frozen sand and salt pieces before spreading / dropping.Product is packed into transport safe plywood box for easier handling.Comes with the detailed user instruction.
